On four Tuesdays over February and March, Bishop Emeritus Thomas Skrenes will convene a book study on the best-selling biography, Martin Luther: The Man who Rediscovered God and Changed the World by Eric Metaxas.

Over these four sessions we will explore one of the most significant persons in Western Society of the last thousand years. We will see Luther's impact on religion and culture and will review the life, joys and struggles of this monumental figure through the written work of one of the most popular writers of history today. The book by Eric Metaxas is available through Amazon and other sources for about $27.00 hard cover and less for soft cover editions.

The book study sessions will each begin with a short introduction by the convener and then reflections on questions suggested for discussion. Students will be expected to read the book and to participate in the book study discussion.

Martin Luther remains one of the most important and fascinating persons in the western world with his ideas still affecting our lives.
